These glues are good for gluing plywood underlayment to house framing, and some will do that to frozen and wet wood! very good for gluing house framing to cement, ceramics, glass, metals and painted surfaces. great stuff, but not for structurally important joints in a wooden boat.. Resorcinol seems to be the best glue for wooden boat construction, but is toxic. epoxy is very good but may be hazardous. which glue????? it comes outta the can. "glue" is resin that has been thickened up with powder. i use west 403 fillers for most general boat building. others use wood dust, colodial silica, talc, balloons, on n on ..

Adhesives forming bonds in boatbuilding . the bonding of different materials used in boatbuilding entered a new age when synthetic adhesives became waterproof and tremendously stronger than the materials they are bonding. the challenge today is the plethora of adhesives available..
